Gun permits and state birth records are not the same.A felon cant get a gun permit ,a felon can get his BC in any state in The US he was born in

However, it appears Congress has moved on and has accepted Obama's island birthplace. The U.S. House on Monday unanimously approved a resolution recognizing and celebrating the 50th anniversary of Hawaii becoming the 50th state. A clause was included that reads: "Whereas the 44th President of the United States, Barack Obama, was born in Hawaii on August 4, 1961."

I understand just fine,you don't seem to understand between a state and federal regulated issue(gun ownership and possession) and a states birth records
It's only an issue in birtherland. And the vast majority of the nation knows what this birther stuff is really about. As you adroitly, albeit most likely subconsciously, pointed out.
