Admittedly my first thought to this was "good riddance" and ive often made the comment on here that we would be better off when he died, but that was a huge short coming on my part.

I dont really wish brain caner on my worst enemies as its a sure death sentence..... i wish him the best, and feel like a dick for even joking about it i just always assumed he would live forever.... best of luck McCain.

The tone and content of this posting are uncalled for. Some things are better left unsaid.
 
Also one other thing to note here, Ted Kennedy was the one who died in 2009, that set off the special election of scott brown, and set off the whole shit storm of dems losing every single election for the next 8 years, this might be looked back in history as the Ted Kennedy moment, where the pendulum swings back the other way.

Everyone has to go...one way or another, o_O -- it's hardly a pretty or poetic process,

If I were an old man with a serious or degenerative disease...I would probably just blow my brains out, (no pun intended)

My old man is a hard ass who often says that too me:

"Just stick the gun in my head and end it when my time comes, Ive lived a good life, and im not scared."

I used to appreciate that kind of bravado alot more when he was still young, and reasonably healthy, but the older he becomes, the tougher it becomes for both of us to accept that.

Every single one of us is a hero until death is knocking on our door.
