Senator John McCain Has Been Diagnosed with Brain Cancer

He's gonna live a long time Max.
You'll see. ;)

Hope so man, my dad is only 76, he got polio at the age of 7, spent 2 years in an iron lung to survive, he has a bad leg that is the size of a 7 year old kids leg, from that time, so after that he spent years in surgery where they stapled his bones together on his good leg to stop them from growing so it wouldnt get too much bigger than the bad leg that stopped growing when he was seven.

He has spent more of his life in a hospital than any human being ever should. And as a result he is the most hard working human being you could ever meet. He is my rock, and he is my soldier.

Doctors said he would never walk again when he was seven years old. He walked for the next 7 decades, and only started falling down and breaking bones in the last couple years. Hes breaking bones now in the leg that had polio which they say will never recover. I always assumed he could overcome anything, but time is finally catching up as it does to all of us. I just hate seeing a guy like that finally brought down when he fought the good fight his whole life.

Its very hard to realise that your hero is fallible.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — President Donald Trump offered his and first lady Melania Trump’s thoughts and prayers to Sen. John McCain and his family after it was revealed the Senator has been diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Wednesday night, shortly after news of McCain’s medical condition was revealed, the President released the following statement:

Senator John McCain has always been a fighter. Melania and I send our thoughts and prayers to Senator McCain, Cindy, and their entire family. Get well soon.

McCain underwent a medical procedure last Friday. The procedure involved the area above his left eye. The Mayo Clinic released a statementon what was found as a result of the procedure: “Subsequent tissue pathology revealed that a primary brain tumor known as a glioblastoma was associated with the blood clot.”

Treatment may include chemotherapy and radiation, according to the clinic.

A statement from the Senator’s office relayed the McCain family’s appreciation for the “outpouring of support he has received over the last few days.” He is currently recovering in Arizona where he is joined by his family.

Vice President Mike Pence also offered prayers from himself and second lady Karen Pence for Senator McCain.

Damn Max.
One of these days do me a favor huh....
Tell him about the man... that he made you.
Those will be the greatest words he's ever heard.

I vehemently disagreed w/many of his positions but respected the fact he wouldn't just toe the party line on every issue. There are few men of conviction in capitol hill.

Agree.I didn't like his aggressive foreign policy positions but I still had respect for him because not only did he,his father and grandfather serve but some of his kids served as well while most war hawks don't want their kids anywhere near the military.

Despise McCain's politics, but this is a good reminder that you can be against one's political position, but that doesn't mean you should be against the man.

I wish him a strong recovery or peace in his time remaining if that is not possible. The man has suffered enough pain in his life.

Cancer is not a death sentence: depends obviously if the people who do know how to cure people, find him worthy enough for these people to want to prolongate his life. If not, then he 'll have to deal with what the most money can pay for as far as health is concerned.

If this is an aggressive brain tumor like they are saying, at his age, prognosis isn't the best.
