Senate votes 51-49 to move Kavanaugh's nomination to a final vote

Side note:

I am very familiar with Susan Collins.

And she has spasmodic dysphonia, the same speech disease/defect that Robert Kennedy jr has, and it can get bad and runs in cycles. But she did VERY, VERY WELL getting through that speech and it was barely noticeable.

BIG HAPPINESS FOR HER.

Nice to see someone step up and show some balls even if it is a woman. I did not enjoy watching Ben Sasse cut his own off publicly.
And Joe Manchin has to look at the polls and watch what others do first to see if he can find his balls that way.

Unfortunately, it's not over yet but it's looking good.
It's all good. It would not make it out to a final vote unles it was going to pass----That is unless Democrats find a bong in Kavanaugh's past. ---Of course that didn't hurt Clinton or Hussein.

I think he will be confirmed too.

I have not decided whether I would vote for Kavanaugh yet or not.

I am still troubled by that ice cube he threw at someone 36 years ago. Yeh. that's an issue for me.

And then there was that part where senators publicly accused him of being a serial rapist and he did not practice good listening skills and felt the need to give his own opinion about what was going on. Yeh. Another big issue for me.

What do you mean, lack of judicial temperament?

Awesome. I am pretty sure he borrowed that hat drinking rig from Gorsuch because Gorsuch is from Colorado and it has Coors Beer on it which started as a Colorado beer. It's all good. He is beginning to function as a team member already.
