I fear not he who would copy my trades. I welcome it. My trades will then be more precise, with more liquidity, work faster and better. Rather I fear he who counter trades my trades. For he who fades me may well take my $$ if he can trade size or get enough johnny’s to join him. Please do discover my strategies and tactics and copy me to your hearts content! You will be my friend and help make my trades come true.

Trading against you would not make sense I think. Makes only sense if your position is so huge that countering would move that market. I think your position is not big enough. Even if it would be big enough,I have not enough money to counter you and change the market to force you out.
I start shortIng in ranges in the top 1/3 if the larger context supports doing so. And often average down as price moves against me to the top of the range. A range is defined as 20 bars sideways. Sometime I cheat and start a little sooner on say 16th or 17th bar and call it a range IF ONGOING LIVE price dynamics seem to indicate it will likely still be a confirmed range by the 20th bar.
And to use this tactic for a minimum scalp, the range, top to bottom, needs to be as wide as 3x a minimum scalp (which I consider to be 1 point) AND it needs to be at least 3x the size of an average bar. Just a cursory glance will suffice.
So, tommorrow in the ES or MES please join me shorting, once these definitions are met. But please short with the largest size you possibly can. That way price will possibly drop faster and I will exit with my 2 to 8 points (If the range is wide enough to capture that much) so fast your eyes will spin. Otherwise, I will capture the min scalp size with gusto.
PS I will not be too happy if you and your friends fade me with very large size driving a price BO with FT north of the range as you will then force me to exit with a loss and double up and go long thus making back my loss in a very short price distance move north and soon be in the money long. I will be prepared for either scenario but prefer you and EVERYONE on ET to join me shorting as that would make my trade less burdensome and easier to bear not to mention a quicker profit and maybe my sweetheart could race down to Dillards and totally bypass all dollar stores.

If the broker analyzes your trading and figures out your strategy (assuming good ROI and potential to scale), would they be placing the entry trade before you or after? If the broker does not figure out your strategy but copies your entry trades, and exits the position before you, who would be better off?
I actually think volpri has a point , essentially if one is trading on fundamental data , then having a large following might help, following being the operative word , however if one uses tech analysis and strategy is cracked then front running of trades could ensue , making things difficult ( and further spreading of information on said strategy could happen) , diluting effectiveness to untradeable levels.
