give me a break ALL firms have a technical gltich every now and then. I've been with Scottrade for several years and overall it's fine. Sure every so often there is a technical glitch but that can happen anywhere. Whenever I've called the local office they've been very helpful and any trade I wanted they did over the phone for the $7 charge. Scottrade is a good firm. But remeber it's a brokerage, not Direct Access.
