quantum mechanics applied to particle physics is far far from complete or understood and fraught with very very difficult conceptual problems. only the most brazen crank would be foolish enough to attempt to extrapolate to macro events such as market behaviour.

ok, finally some sense from the saynt. yeah you are right, but wrong about my application. i don't "apply" it, i use the concepts as a filter when viewing the market. make sense ?

no, that doesn't make sense. you are substituting "filter" for "apply", one and the same.
Gee I'm fed up of astrologers and mystics who try to justify their "science" with quantum physics !!! This is an abuse ! I'm not against beliefs in paranormal things if they are facts and proofs but I am against mixing science and mysticism ! Science cannot prove everything so let separate the two ok ?
This is a great tendancy in psychological domain and I repost the reference of a book from two physicians that deal with that !

Analogy is not a scientific demonstration. Analogy is just a parabol. When for example I said that my model exhibits Feynman like effect like in Quantum Theory I don't justify my model with Quantum Theory I just say that I just OBSERVE same behavior it doesn't mean that my model has been based on Quantum Analogy since It doesn't ! You can have the same apparent behavior but the causes are very different !
Today there is abuse of "scientific" proof that are just analogy especially in psychologic research field. That's why two scientists have written on the subject:

As long as you use it as a useful trick it's ok, but if you take the parabol as profound truth then it is dangerous because you will extend it over its domain. Let's take the geometry of the market. My model can demonstrate rationaly that there are some geometry in the market but can refutes partly some dilusion about the so called mass market psychology hypothesis of the elliotists. So I only agree with the apparence of what the elliotists observe and not with their cause hypothesis.

harry, the split between science and metaphysics is fairly recent in human history. Many of the greatest minds in history were very metaphysical. lately science appears to be agreeing more and more with metaphysics. If that bothers you it just shows your predjudices, nothing more.
