I am not looking for gossip but i do find your plea for maturity ironic as stated.

But unfortunately, I can no longer say that. The moderators (including baron) have really turned a blind eye to the pollution of threads and blatant insults by people like reynolds.
I suppose in theory, people who throw insults around arises emotions and therefore more "hits" for elitetrader. But I can't imagine this is quality traffic advertisers are looking for.
I would only ask the moderators to take a stronger stance against these type of people by recording their IP's and deleting their usernames.

In my experience Baron and the moderators are trying hard to keep a professional and clean site.
I moderate as a favor to Baron and don't have time to read all posts in my forums. I therefore miss a few things from time to time. That said, I also really don't feel like spending hours each day editing and cleaning things up.

That's a nice take on things. Another take would go like this. The recent rash of idiotic puking all over the website has gone basically unchecked by Baron and the mods. It's making it difficult to view the site. Add to that the constant vomiting in the P & R thread by the likes of Publisher in his latest incarnation, and things look pretty grim. Waiting for the for-pay alternative.
