P.S. Best of fortunes in 2008.

Thank you, BLB and Mathemqician.

I knew we'd eventually have a down year. It wasn't fun but I'm thankful it was only single digits. My trading strategies are profiting as expected and going forward in 2008, without the ill-fated, fundamentally-based oil strategy, I'm expecting a profitable year.

PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT NECESSARILY INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS.
FUTURES TRADING IS SPECULATIVE AND INVOLVES A HIGH DEGREE OF RISK.

Aaron , you should just ask the mods to close this thread. “Help” from few cheerleading teenagers like powerloser will do ( and probably already did) more harm that good.

Disgusting flipflop as soon as Aaron shows up in person.

Pathetic and weak-minded... but is that a surprise?

I don't know anything about you Aaron, but keep your chin up. There's no one here who hasn't had a tough run. Hell, there's plenty of "traders" here who haven't ever had any kind of run...they can just hit "reset" on their sim account, but they don't count. lol

Good luck.

Anyone can cherry pick numbers by ignoring the years he outperformed the market and then focus on when he didnt - but you are still missing the point that its a hedge fund and not a stock market investment so your comparison is meaningless. Its apples to oranges.

Maybe someday you'll have enough money to comprehend why you wouldn't want to have all of your investments correlated with the stock market performance - then again with the level of ignorance you continue to display probably not.

The words slim and none come to mind :)

It's a challenge for a CTA to find a distribution channel through which they can reach an audience.

If Baron were to create a moderated area where posts that add no value are removed, creating an acceptable environment for CTAs to talk about what they do, that might be something.

What I mean is moderation that is at a higher quality bar than currently exists in other sub-forums.

Still think there are some regulatory issues with CTAs talking on message boards even if Baron creates a moderated area.
