Yeah, I had it right and played it wrong today.

that happens, I try to set all possible exits from day before on the chart, so at least I don't think about them. What's on your chart, as the one you post, apart from obviously being informative at the time, it would look a little bland when in a trade. Have you considered marking all possible "get-out" zones day before, some could be automated. You mentioned prior, that you switch to T&S when you are in a trade, no wonder you overlooked the 1307.50, anybody would have if these levels were not in front of them. It's my fault in a way for not mentioning this to you earlier today, I thought that might influence your decision making, I was only basing a second long on probability of continuation and decided that 1305.50 is a safer entry, only because I was staring at 1307.50 mark on the chart and still didn't get it!

Oh no I am to blame I don't trade with the same chart that I post but I have the numbers right next to me during the day. I am not use to taking 3 trades in a day and when I saw the breakout about to happen I just went bonkers. I didn't notice what happened until I went to do my charting for tomorrow. I think I will put some kind of marking on my trading chart from now on. It really isn't that big a deal. I am glad it happened to me on a day when I had 2 winning trades earlier. And for some lucky reason I adjusted my S/L to the same as my target 1.25. So all in all still ok for the day. I get steak but my wife gets a sandwich tonight.

final for day.

You are actually looking at most of the same chart patterns that me and Romik were seeing today. So we are close to being on the same page here.

Alright we had a decent day today. I made a stupid mistake but I have it corrected now. So hopefully I won' do that again. I saw that breakout about to happen and felt like a 16 year old about to get laid for the first time. Here are my munbers for tomorrow.

Long 1308.25 - 1312.25 ( This one should be very good)

Short 1301.50 - 1295.50

Did everyone else do OK today. Let me know if I missed any questions . I do sometimes don't I Blowfish?

Good Trading to all,
Gary

I think Grob is trying to catch a lot more moves than me personally, judging by the way the channels appear on the chart. Though a lot on the chart is self-explanatory, it would be great to get an attached explanation of his trades for that day (when/stop/target/etc).

I agree, Grob would you mind filling us in on some of your method? Seeing as how we are looking at similar patterns and such. Sure would appreciate it. BTW, are you use S/R for trading as well?
