I have no idea what is going on in Ruthie's mind or plans, but at least one assertion in that article is not true.
It refers to her "re-occurrence of melanoma." I dont believe there is any evidence that she has ever had melanoma, let alone a re-occurence of it.
It is true- at least it is widely acknowledged- that she has had colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, and cancer of the lung.
My never humble view is that she is on the downcurve but is at least well enough to make it through the current court session which ends in June, or at least the hearings do, I believe- and justices plan their lives around sessions. I doubt that she would retire while court is still in session. Yep, tis true she is out and recovering and I am not saying she would not function at a reduced level but I cannot see her leaving before summer- unless she takes a complete dive for the worst.
I am going to give the article a few pre-pinnochio's. If the facts change, I will change my view. And no to the melanoma.
