The same argument applies now that was used in the prior election. If Obama couldn't appoint a Justice during the last year of his term, then neither can Trump. As I recall Trump was in agreement with the game playing. What's good for one must be good for the other, which is why this game shouldn't have been played in the first place.

Both sides like to play the game. When in power they act as if they'll never lose control, and when out of power they act like they'll never be in power again. Congress is, has been, and will continue to be the source of most all of our problems.
