Moral Injury, (MI) characterised by the persistent presence of guilt and shame, the loss of faith in institutions and moral structures and a collapse of frameworks by which people make meaning of their lives, will certainly be seen in the combatants as well as the civilians deeply affected by the war in Ukraine.

In war and hospice volunteering I've always been keenly aware that moral injury is what drains you and makes you walk away from a fight. It's why my heart went out most profoundly to nurses and doctors dealing with Covid, not only in the ICU. They call it 'burnout' as a euphemism but that's just a bullshit word for what's actually going on, moral injury.
Moral Injury is what the warring factions in the political group here have to throw at each other.
Pu never shuts the fuck up because he is lead on to believe he is very close to inflicting moral injury and as we know, he isn't.
