I am not sure as Putin is now sending even women to Ukraine to fight. Probably to keep a healthy balance in the male/female ratio in Russia.
If 100K women die, balance will be more or less restored again.
Balance is important in Russia as lesbians and gays are not accepted.
To Putin -- sending conscripts from remote regions to the meat grinder in Ukraine is just a way of removing ethnic minorities from Russia. Effectively it is a form of genocide on his own population.
