Russia & Ukraine

Xi's plans (or hopes) for this conflict is to see Russia reduced to being a vassal state of China --- coupled with China being able to effectively seize in the long term the eastern regions of the Russian Federation through financial, diplomatic, and military means.

China was working the goal of coopting the central asia countries long before the war. But his original plan was to build a partnership with Putin and use his hold over those countries to gain entry into those regions.

Problem is, with the war, Putin lost control of them. Xi would have actually preferred to have Putin running all of them so that Russia and the central Asian countries would all end out in Camp China because he controlled Putin. The problem China has now is that many of those countries K-Stan, Uzbeckistan, Ajerbajain, etc are leaving the Russian total control and doing business with China BUT, BUT, BUT they are doing business with the west too and are beginning to learn the tremendous advantages of being non-aligned and letting everyone treat you nice to become your friend. If Putin had held his sh$t together and held his influence over those countries China would have been able to inherit them via its influence over Russia and not have to compete with the westerners clamoring in there now.

... and then you end up as fertilizer on a sunflower field in ukraine - and finally - your sad life makes sense - for the first time ever ...

Putin has a bad education? Really? This man runs circles around the entire US administration and you can throw in the senate and congress for giggles. This guy speaks multiple languages, has more political experience than any American alive, is schooled in geopolitics, negotiations, military strategy, surveillance, and I have not even talked about his education in academia. Lol. Name me a single American alive who beats this.

putin wants to expand russia.
why? - because he seems to be somehow stuck in 19th/18th/... century.

(and because he is a very short man with very bad education and horrible inferiority complex - we know this.)

on the other hand - no country was ever forced to join NATO (or EU).

countries that want to be part of nato just want to be left alone. they want peace and prosperity - that's why many of them are also part of eu (or would like to be).

see the difference - it's not difficult. you have a brain - start using it.

sooner or later the brainwashing in russia will stop, hopefully.

or maybe not.

what about you learning the chinese language - pretty difficult, right?

lol ...

We Europeans DO NOT want more east European corruption in the EU. So thanks, but no.

"russia" will have much bigger problems in the coming decades, and many of them - believe me.

and "russia" (or whatever it will be called then) won't be in a position to do anything against ukraine, moldova or georgia, etc. joining nato or eu.

The US didn't do to Russia or Cuba what Russia is doing to Ukraine.

Kennedy basically told Khrushev the US would declare war on Russia if they were to go ahead, a deal was made, no deal betwen Russia Ukraine and the US, so invasion went ahead, it is not difficulty to understand, surely.

Same with Ukraine and in fact the US: what would this former pristine geographic region be like if it was not inhabited by the world's dumbest, fattest, sickest individuals who ever lived? What would it be without all the corporate graft and corruption, the lies, the lobbying, the deceit, the stealing from the middle class? What would it be without constantly getting involved in others' affairs, without the lies spread about democracy when in fact the only interest is to secure strategic oil resources. What would it be without the trillions of dollars spent on useless millitary equipment that originate from a deep rooted sense of insecurity and fear.

What would it be like? I wonder...

imagine what russia could be today - if only they ever had a decent administration, etc

the last 30 years and more - lost

so much money - stolen, wasted

what a shame
