Heh, one of the replies- above- rags on him for not being a soldier which is a criticism that dogs him. The criticism comes from both senior military and the men being sent to their deaths at the front.

The argument is that he has never been in the military- before buddy-buddying his way to a senior role via his buddy relationship with Putin. He originally headed up some kind of civil defense, civil emergency type of program/unit. Then, incrementally, over time. he started making it look more like a military unit. He and employees started wearing uniforms, and started attending military type training sessions etc. The end-result being that he becamse some kind of quasi-military looking type but never served his annual conscription year when he was younger, etc. Something like that. But now he is a military genius along with Vlad. Not sure either one of them has been to the front to visit the soldiers in this mess. Possibly Shoigu although I doubt it.

Not in the mind of Lukashenko though. That is why he is an idiot who will be visited by missiles from Ukraine to give him a wake up call before long. Might have to wait for some of the American ones still coming.

Lukashenko is trying to take the position "I am not invading Ukraine, I am just letting Russia use Belarus as a parking lot."

Again, that is what makes him an idiot who will require a wake-up call. He still is not sending troops. He thinks he is okay as long as he does not do that. And it is a smart choice on his part to not do that. Except he needs to be smarter on the Ruskie base stuff. Or else incoming.

The Belarusian military bases should be hit as well. Lukashenko knows that the Belarus people and soldiers do not want to be involved so he is hoping that anything that happens in Belarus will just be between the Russians and Ukraine.

Nope. Bring the war home to Belarus and let Lukashenko deal with it. It was the same thing in Russia. They did not worry about it until mobilization brought the war home. Belarus can protect its country by booting the Russian military out.
