According to Novaya Gazeta, classified 7th paragraph of Putin's decree on mobilisation put number of mobilised at 1 million. So not 300,000 but 1 million( and more to come later). Putin is doing this in steps to reduce the resistance in Russia.

The number of 300,000 is not mentioned. If they hide it, it means the number is much higher.
