It’s so easy to point a finger at someone like Russia and simply say well they started it, they are the aggressor, but it usually takes two to tango, and certainly this is the case here which is constantly being denied cause it’s so convenient, we didn’t provoke, we did NOTHING!

It only takes one to invade, that's like saying Iraq was responsible for US invading them.

And yes, Ukraine did nothing, Russia encouraged separatist movements and used it as a pretext and now they are attacking regions beyond those separatist regions. And this is not the first time for Putin, he wants to bring back the USSR which he said so himself and has tried it with other neighbors.

The answer is simple. First of all, internal politics are up to the people of Russia to sort out, they shouldn’t be influenced by the US like what happened in Ukraine. The US has friendly respectful relations with quite a few undemocratic countries and mainstream media doesn’t criticise, why is that? Double standards. So it is perfectly acceptable to respect one nation and disrespect another for exactly same actions and at times worse ones. And what about Israel? The US looooooovvvves Israel. When it suits. I don’t see you participating in a thread against crimes of Israel.

What makes you think you can shove democracy down the throats of other nations? What if they don’t want democracy? But it seems that you get to decide for them and when they refuse you use proxy armies to overthrow governments. That is well democratic!

Why should other nations respect a nation that built its economy at the expense of slavery and up to now has not bothered to officially apologise for it?
