Putin not interested in any negotiation until he sees how this next offensive works out.

The same is true for the Ukrainians.

Arguably they may be locked into shelling for a couple more years in the east but that more or less works to the advantage of Ukraine, I would think.

Probably would work against Nato I would think, since Putin will try to up the game in some way if it drags on in order to create more American and EU pressure for Zelensky to find a settlement to avoid nuclear war and the general drag on the world if it goes on too long.

Dozens of videos about the Russian killing and raping citizens are considered fake. But if ONE women makes a video, it is taken as real and honest. This houses are not in Mariupol, but in the Donetsk area. So in Russian occupied territory.
This woman proofs nothing at all. I can make video's like this too.

Yes, but make videos from "actors that wave at you", while satellite pictures show that the waving body was already lying there a few weeks before is not comparable with what this woman is telling.

A few days ago there was a picture from Kadyrov, praying at a fule station "somewhere in Ukraine". The onoly mistake they made to have some credibility was that the fuel station was from Rossneft. And Rossneft has no fuelstations anywhere in Ukraine.

Russians are masters in making fake video's. Just like their fake news in Russia. That's however easy if you block all news from outside Russia and show your own propaganda 24/7 on the only tv channels the Russians can watch.

There is that. While the Russians are engaged in Ukraine (and overly committed at that) NATO is pulling in new members and positions and posturing closer to the Russians than ever.

Indeed. Look at the sanctions and the ruble. People are laughing it off because it will take time for Russia to go through what it has stored and saved away. But they will wake up one day cut off from the west and in need of access to the western market. Last laughs are indeed good.

If you read the write up I shared, Putin made a comment that the west can’t cut off Russia from them. We’ll see.
