Russia & Ukraine

In happier news, the documented liquidated top Russian officers in Ukraine so far:

Lieutenant Colonels: 23
Colonels: 21
Generals: 7

Is this data coming from WikiLeaks? BTW what is going to happen to Assange once he is deported to the US?

Well two friends are now going fully into the Kherson area which will be extraordinarily high risk for them, I am pretty nervous they can't reasonably control their exposure.

A social media painted war where posts from friends there jump from nice breakfasts to just wretched.

This was probably the most important point of the repulsion of the Russian invasion into Kyiv. The cascading loses the Russians suffered and their current retreat all most likely started here. Glad we were able to help:

It has been well discussed that the Russians clowned-out in the Kviv area while the Ukrainians overperformed expectations.

However, since the Ukrainians performed well and redeemed themselves some of their shortcoming go unmentioned, mostly because the war continues and other things are in the news.

But going back to the Airport scenario. Yes, the Americans gave good intelligence. In fact the Americans gave them LOTS of good intelligence in the lead up to the war. Intelligence that Zelensky was scoffing at and somewhat publicly discrediting the American statements and credibility. You will recall how loud and frequent he was about declaring that that "the Americans keep saying that an invasion is imminent but Ukraine has intelligence to the contrary." Somewhat sticking it up America's arse and making us look like warmongers when we were just trying get him to get his shiite together.

Thankfully, Zelensky and company have the ability to live and learn. Yes, there was good intelligence on the airport scenario and other situations but even more thankfully is that they had recently had a wake-up call and valued and used such intelligence.

Oh, and as I have said before, and, again, not to detract from the Ukrainians, but all of that locating and tracking of generals has all the hallmarks of Americans with joysticks in bunkers in DC and North Dakota and passing infor to the Ukrainians. MORE TO COME in the donbass and east when that heats up.

It's a good combination, Ukrainians are good with tech and computing type things, and the Americans are piling tons of new weapons like the Switchblade drones into Ukraine for the fight in the east. They will be attacking warships, tanks, and all sorts of targets, looking at their split screens while communicating with the Americans over in their other screen in North Dakota who have already geo-located their target. You put some of that advanced weaponry out there and the Ukrainians gobble it up pretty quickly and take it to another level. Not something we have seen in places like Vietnam, Iraq, AFG where Americans tried like hell to get the locals to actually fight and to actually take themselves and their skills up to another level. As one of the generals said after the AFG withrdrawal, "we learned early on that you never want to schedule military operation of any kind on payday for the Afghan army because most of them will not show up." Sigh.

Someone asked me, if Russians are losing thousands in Ukraine, where are the pics?

There are lots of pictures of 1-2-3 dead Russian soldiers. Here is a nice grouping:

After the documented massacres of civilians - they richly deserve it.

Apparently Russians have no concept of "no man left behind", do they.

Yeah, shoot the missiles eh?

The be fair, if you want to shoot down missiles with a gun:

20mm @ up to 4500 rounds per minute of goodness.

I suppose if we were to send in a few systems similar to this with some trained Babushkas, it would make Putin sad. That, and a system we used in Iraq that automatically calculated the trajectories of enemy artillery fire, plotted a solution, and almost instantly returned fire with a very high probability of a hit.

Nobody has a sense of humor anymore! Why not arrange the dead Russian bodies into
“Putin Khuilo”, or something related to Ukraine patriotism?
