This begs the question, do the Ukrainians give back to civilian Russians in like kind?

The picture is deceptive, those are solid concrete all the way down. If we're looking at the same thing.

Hmmmm, good question.

Edit 2:
If you look at the one on the right, there's plywood underneath it to span that damage. My guess they were just put there as a safety measure to channel vehicle traffic to the center of the bridge so no drunk soldier puts a wheel over the side.
