Both Biden and his Press Tart were repeatedly asked about the 6 billion and they both said it was totally unrelated to the prisoner exchange. But when they are asked why it was even part of the prisoner exchange then, they both had a sudden urge to go read their deleted mail or something. Yeh sure, unrelated except they would not release any prisoners until the Quatari's confirmed they had the money.

Qatar could find six billion in the couch. 330,000 actual citizens with a mostly oil gdp of over 220 billion.

This is a big shuffle between NGO's (unaccountable entities)

U.S. government announced the establishment of a humanitarian channel ("HC") in Qatar to administer $6 billion in Iranian funds. The funds, comprised of payments made to Iran by South Korea for the purchase of oil, have not been frozen under U.S. law. Until now, they have been held in a restricted account in South Korea. Under the terms of the deal, the funds are being transferred to a restricted account in Qatar, and may only be used for the purchase of food, agricultural goods, medicine, and medical devices for the Iranian people. The funds may not be released to the government of Iran or to Iranian companies
 
Guess all those who are upset about Iran getting access to ITS OWN money want the U.S. to do everything it can to wean itself off crude oil by investing, as the Biden Administration has done, in clean renewable energy?

So then countries like Iran AND Saudi Arabia will have a lot less leverage over how will direct our Foreign Policy - who we demonize and who we buddy buddy up to.
