It's probably time for all Russian and Ukrainian citizens to be told to register and update their details with a local police station across all Nato nations. Biometrics taken for some to verify identity.

Maybe if someone asks Joe about this he will call them stupid. Or it could go the other way. Someone will ask Psaki and she will show a little leg while answering and that will be more than okay for the tards here and elsewhere.
Biden still doesn’t have a U.S. ambassador in Ukraine — and it’s not the Senate’s fault
The Kremlin has embarked on a massive buildup of troops along Russia’s border with Ukraine. Vladimir Putin and his entourage have been spouting belligerent rhetoric, openly calling into question Ukraine’s continued right to exist. Moscow has resorted to military action against its neighbors, including Ukraine, before. Yet the results this time could be even more catastrophic.
Given this dire situation, one might assume that having a Senate-confirmed U.S. ambassador on the ground in Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, would be useful. But there is no U.S. ambassador in Ukraine, nor is there any indication of when one might be arriving. This failure is not the responsibility of the Senate, which has been slow in confirming a slew of nominees of the Biden administration. No, in this case the Biden administration has only itself to blame. So far the president hasn’t even managed to nominate someone for the position.

Can't blame this one on the GOP, Biden didn't both to make a nomination in the first place. Must have sent quite a message to Russia about how much Biden cares about the Ukraine.
And if that's the case, nominating to have the candidate blocked would have looked great eh?
That's not how the process works. Nominations are made anyway.
“Biden is expected to choose Bridget Brink, a seasoned senior career diplomat, as his nominee to be U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, according to current and former officials familiar with the matter, although no final decision has been reached,” the message says.
The reason why the president was unable to quickly appoint all the representatives of his diplomatic corps is due to the actions of some senators.
In particular, Republican Senator Ted Cruz blocked voting on all candidates of the State Department because of his disagreement with the decision of the Biden administration to lift part of the sanctions against the Russian Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline. Therefore, Biden's top envoy to Europe, Assistant Secretary of State Karen Donfried, took office in October, five months after the president first nominated her.

So I expect Ted is doing something where he wants to call the shots on who gets put through and who does not. Biden is not playing his game.
