Right, there are no conservatives or dumb religious nutjobs in blue states. No sir, that's unposible.

One, this part of CT is actually trump country.
Two, this is despicable behavior that has become more acceptable because of the behavior of the president.
The school is in Hartford county which voted for Hillary (see map). Good luck with your "Trump country" assertion.
Actually the point is that the majority of the dumb nutjobs in the U.S. live in blue states.
Because of the city of Hartford. Outside of Hartford proper it changes real fast.
But let's say you are right and the town Is liberal. Doesn't that make this whole story worse? A few alt righters, emboldened by intolerance expressed by the president are infecting more communities through the threat of violence.
This all gets back to exGOPer continuous claiming the Southern states are all examples of backward, ignorant, stone-age religious zealots while all the blue states are pristine meccas full of modern progressive, intelligent, tolerant people.
Actually the truth is far different -- by the numbers blue states have many more closed-minded (of all variations), ignorant people than the states in the South.
I wouldn’t be so disrespectful but Alabama ain’t exactly a model of a thriving state either. They are depressed economically and corrupted politically because they are so ideologically conservative. The previous governor left on scandal, the speaker of the House is waiting sentencing on 13 charges and the former Chief Justice was removed from the bench twice and now he is the nominee for senate with charges of targeting minors for romantic relationships.
You know what, yeah, Alabama is backwards.
While New York and Chicago are bastions of justice and morality, oh yeah.
