Roy Moore is a perfect example of why the MSM should not engage in 1 sided journalism

Im inline with your thinking a little bit on the whole mess of it all. I’m torn between this because I was thinking the governor should just call the election off, which is in her power because If Moore loses that really does a disservice to the people of Alabama. they are a red-red State and a Democrat really would not represent the people there. But on the other hand this is the guy that was nominated and we really shouldn’t be changing elections because the people nominated someone who is ill suited and might not win.

So, I’m with you actually, the people have to choose and the election should continue.
I hope that you favor the election continuing because it's the right thing to do and not because you're now betting the democratic candidate would win. Frankly, I think given the circumstances as they are right now, and nothing of substance changes, the democrat will win. I'm okay with that because it would be the will of the people voting. I'll go further and say that no special election should be scheduled even if something comes out that would disqualify Moore, or even if he pulls out. The date is set and that is that. I do not support one party trying to play the system to favor themselves. You live with your choices and if your party is going to nominate a hard line fire breather, then that person better be squeaky clean. If not, it's nobody's fault but their own. To delay the election would be to rig the election. I don't support rigged elections, such as the democratic primary. Yeah, I had to get that in.:p
My real concern is that this will now become the weapon of choice to derail campaigns. That would also constitute the rigging of an election IMO. Given the nature of our politics these days, I do believe we're in for a really messy and dishonest electoral process at all levels, the likes of which we've never seen before. We're on a really bad path.

The “left wing media” aka the real journalists report news you don’t like so that makes them one sided? What kind of nonsense is that?

Facts don’t have multiple sides and they aren’t convenient. You either deal with the truth or you lie to yourself. Blaming the “msm” is a cop out and a license to perpetuate nonsense.

What a joke. “I don’t like the truth so it’s the msm media’s fault.” Perhaps you should consider what the “alternative media” was reporting and compare it to the “msm” and figure out which one is truly slanted.

LOL, who are these "Real journalists" on the left?

Don Lemon is usually seething with anger, and he tries to act like he knows it all but hes an idiot, if anyone the only journalist at CNN is Erin Burnette, but even with here its 100% negative trump stories 100% of the time. Its a joke.

Tell me the "Real journalist" your thinking of who is bipartisan.

In my eyes it used to be Chris Wallace and Jake Tapper, but since Trump started shitting on CNN Tapper has taken it as a signal to attack trump, cant say i blame him but its not exactly fair journalism.

I agree with you but this has been going on for a long time, it's just worse with cable news, internet, social media.. remember Gary Hart?

Yes, but we are playing the game at a whole new level. 24/7 news, social media and the net, you're right, just pours gas on the fire.We better find a way to manage it before the whole place burns down. Tipping points are often passed before the oh shit moment happens.

You’re watching too much tv.

I concern myself differently than you. Alabama isn’t Missouri, they are a deep red state. My concern is democrat senator will not represent the state well. That’s why I kicked around the idea of just canceling the election would be in the best interest of the state.

But, I agree with you that elections should not be cancelled because a bad candidate was nominated. I agree that’s the will of the party.

LOL, yeah you nailed it, MSM reports nothing but facts, right down the middle, and when they shit on conservatives day after day after day while they neglect to report on wrongdoing with dems, its just them reporting the facts, lol. If you tune in too CNN on a daily basis and actually think what is happening there is just them reporting on facts then you have your head up your ass.

If you watch CNN thinking they are an unbiased umpire just calling balls and strikes then you are just as deluded as the people who take "Fox news" as the gospel, there is literally no difference between the networks anymore, just 2 sides of the same coin.

Apparently, according to guys like "Usualname" the unbiased arbiters of truth at CNN must have just forgotten that pictures just surfaced of Al Franken, a sitting senator, groping at a passed out marines breasts....... they must have just ran out of time with all the Roy Moore stories, lol.
