"Isolationist" is what blood thirsty neocons like McCain call anybody who is pro-peace and doesn't think we should be playing world cop. So I'm all in favor of McCain's version of "isolationism".

As Ron Paul has correctly stated, our belligerent policy of preemptive wars is isolating us from world opinion far more than would Ron Paul's policy of non-interventionism.

The bad guys have not flown planes into buildings in Zurich or Geneva. That's because the Swiss mind their own business.

BTW, we never left the Middle East after the Kuwait war. We kept military bases in Saudi Arabia and used the military to enforce sanctions against Iraq that went on for years.
