Fascist government. Another term thrown around far to often and too loosely. Not liking what the government is doing doesn't mean we have a fascist government. Arguably we have a corrupt government, but that doesn't make it fascist. If there are people practicing tactics of fascism we need look no further than a college campus. That tactic being not allowing opposing opinions. Grade F for throwing it where it doesn't apply. Full disclosure, I may be guilty of this myself from time to time. Labels are as an easy and lazy way to argue a point.

Racism and misogyny are worse? Laughable, and only believed by those with a very short memory, or weren't alive to experience actual racism and misogyny. This is classic activism forever stuck in the present moment, never able to acknowledge any real and obvious progress. There will always be some degree of inequality, but to say that no progress has been made and that it's worse is absurd to the point of abject stupidity. They rewrite history daily.

Jesus, did anything happen in this country prior to Trump, anything at all, good or bad? I'm referencing progress made over a period of decades, hundreds of years. I know it doesn't suit the agenda, but there was a time before Trump, some of it really good, some really bad, and all parties participated in both the good and the bad. All take some credit and all get some blame. No clean hands in any of it.

True enough. Except that Trump left his footprint in shit. He did NOTHING to further the interest or well-being of the US or its residents. Not a single blessed thing.
