To be fair to Romney, when asked he just replied "C'est moi" unlike Trump who lied and lied for two weeks. Even when he finally admitted it he gave the reason he needed aliases to hide his name in prospective deals but that had nothing to to with what he did on the tape.

I remember this post and let it be known a couple of times I hoped Slartibartfast would return. Something to be said for sentient character even if there are differing views on political philosophy.
I also agree with Slartibartfast that most time spent on social media, including politics, is a waste of time. Unless you are in the top .0001% of families measured by influence and wealth in this country, you are effectively a pawn in someone else’s game, whether it is Democrats, Republicans, or Socialists.
I had specific reasons, beyond politics, for participating in social media and have learned a lot. Perhaps you have not noticed my reduced posting frequency over the last few weeks.
