Romney Looks Like the Next Pres

Quote from jem:

and most of those polls over sample democrats by 7-11 points.

So that puts Romney out in front by a large margin with the real electorate.

May polls from the 2008 election,I guess that meant McCain was out in front my a large margin

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

Given the fact that you are cheering for Obama why do you keep spamming the polls, which have slowly but surely been getting worse for Obama everyday since you started doing it?

Quote from AK Forty Seven:

if you call 100 registered voters at random and 40 dems answer the phone, 30 repubs and 30 independents answer the phone that poll is not skewed in anyway

1. that is not what is happening with many of these polls. They are calling more dems.

2. also if you figure republicans are more likely to be working and not answering the phone... you would not expect your poll to be accurate.

for instance... ibd poll says this...

Party ID of sample: In politics, do you consider yourself to be a DEMOCRAT, a REPUBLICAN, an INDEPENDENT, or something else? Democrat(37%), Republican (31%), Independent/Other(27%), Not sure/Refused(5%)

During March, 36.4% of Americans considered themselves Republicans while 33.4% were Democrats. For the GOP, that’s a gain of 0.4% from a month ago. Democrats gained a full percentage point from February.

Yet states like FL and Navada report more dems then repubs in Jan and May 2012

Democrats outpace GOP in voter registrations

CARSON CITY (AP) — Nevada Democrats outpaced Republicans in new voter registrations leading up to the state primary.

The secretary of state's office Friday reports that from May 1 through May 22 when primary registration closed, Democrats registered 4,322 active voters, compared with 2,254 registered by Republicans. The number of active registered nonpartisans increased by 2,544 during the same time period.

Statewide, Democrats now hold a 38,792 voter advantage over Republicans. But the gap is far less than the 100,000 voter edge Democrats had going into the 2008 general election.

Figures released by the Division of Elections today show Florida has 11.2 million voters, with 40.5 percent registered as Democrats and about 36.2 percent as Republicans. The gap of 4.3 percentage points between Democratic and Republican registrations compares to a 5.8-point gap that favored Democrats heading into the 2008 presidential election.

they are randomly calling voters, more dems are answering the phone because there are more dems

Most polls include cell phones to poll people at work.SR citizens are more likely to be republicans and are more likely to be home to answer the phone

From Rasmussen today....

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Wednesday shows President Obama and Mitt Romney each attracting 45% of the vote.

Quote from jem:

One of the few legitimate polls which don't over sample democrats by 7 to 11 points. It does surprise me the numbers are this close.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Mitt Romney attracting 45% of the vote, while President Obama earns 44% support. Four percent (4%) would vote for a third party candidate, and another six percent (6%) are undecided.

first of all they are not random calls.
they all do something... call by state... call cell or landline etc.

Rasmuessen's poll shows more republicans than dems... these pols are are over sampling dems by 7-11 points. Something is way off base.

Of course there is a big difference, Jem is posting polls that keep on getting worse for Obama, and he doesnt want Obama to win. You keep posting Polls which are getting worse for Obama, BUT YOU WANT OBAMA TO WIN

I dont know..... If I was as enamored with Facebook as you are with Obama, and i was trying to convince people to buy it, i probably wouldnt be posting the chart on here every day in an attempt to convince people......
