McCain would have continued the war in Afghanistan,continued the war in Iraq and started new ones.Its it that hard to understand that if my only choice is 3 wars or 1 war I'm am going to choose 1 war ?

Mitt Romney, Ron Paul clash on Afghanistan pullout
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Texas Congressman Ron Paul are disagreeing on how quickly to withdraw U.S. troops from Afghanistan.
Romney said at a Republican presidential debate Monday that generals in Afghanistan should guide the pullout schedule based to conditions on the ground. He said the troops should come home as soon as possible under those conditions.
Paul said the president must tell generals what to do. He said if he were president he would begin withdrawing troops almost immediately. He said the United States has no purpose fighting a war in Afghanistan.

LITTLETON, New Hampshire (Reuters) - Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney on Thursday attacked U.S. President Barack Obama for a "signature failure" to keep some troops in Iraq to prevent the country falling back into sectarian conflict.
Just days after U.S. troops left Iraq, a wave of bombings killed at least 72 people in Baghdad on Thursday. The Shi'ite-led government is engulfed in a crisis that risks fracturing Iraq along sectarian and ethnic fault lines.
A consistent front-runner in polls of Republicans, Romney said he feared leaving Iraq without a stabilization force could put the hard-earned successes and victories there at risk.

Romney Calls for More Defense Spending
MT. PLEASANT, S.C. â Standing among retired airplanes on the U.S.S. Yorktown, a decommissioned World War II aircraft carrier, Mitt Romney told a small group of veterans on Thursday that given the global threats to Americaâs interests, the nationâs defense spending should be increased instead of cut.
Acknowledging that waste and excess spending exist within the Defense Department, Mr. Romney still called for increasing the Pentagonâs budget.

Romney: I won't cut defense budget
Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney (R) said Monday he wouldn't cut the defense budget if he's elected president.
Romney said he would be open to redirecting spending within the Pentagon's budget to ensure that it's more efficiently allocated and to eliminate waste, but he wouldn't cut the overall budget.
"I'm not going to cut the defense budget," Romney said in a question-and-answer session on his Facebook page.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -16 (see trends).
Most voters (56%) continue to favor repeal of the presidentâs health care plan. Even in Massachusetts, the reviews are mixed. Forty-six percent (46%) of Bay State voters would like the health care law repealed, while an equal number are opposed.
In a hypothetical Election 2012 matchup, presumptive Republican nominee Mitt Romney earns 47% of the vote, while President Obama attracts support from 44%. Matchup results are updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). See tracking history.

You know I get it that Obama is insane and his supporters are hypocrites and don't know a damn thing about the man they support. But it frustrates me when the right thinks that Romney will be some sort of big improvement. It's the same shit every election cycle. We're given two liars to choose from. Two corrupt bureaucrats that couldn't care less about the people. Romney = Obama.
When I was in high school, I was in AP Physics class in 11th grade with a dude who eventually got into princeton(he was a senior at the same time). The guy was nothing special (not dumb but not by any stretch of the imagination impressive in any way). The most important fact I did not mention was that his father went to princeton and his father was rich.
Romney had a yellow brick road from day 1 of his life. His harvard degrees are meaningless because he was growing up in a very comfy situation and his father was a governor of michigan and presidential candidate. Romney eventually got into boston consulting group. Things such as Cash Cow Dog, Star rating system we got from BCG. To get into BCG you need connections.
The guy had every single advantage in life and did not even become a billionaire. If you use business success a primary criterion for presidential competence Mark Zuckerberg would be a far better preisdent since he is far richer and far younger(he is not old enough yet lol).
Now contrast Romney's biography with being born a child of a mixed couple during the civil rights era.
You have to be a dumb fuck to think that running a country is like running a business. A business is run for the benefit of owners alone, if you run a country like that you go to jail. All those wonderful $8/hr jobs Romney created at sports authority and staples are exactly the thing every kid in america should aspire to under romney economy.
