I very much question the readiness of our warships on a swarm of volleys. Shit's ubiquitous with drone tech. I never thought i'd say this but when you separate yourself from politics you actually say really smart stuff. You're 100% right.

If you go back and read about Russian espionage their primitive technology was able to defeat some of our most sophisticated stuff. They used hollowed out wooden dowels to put a layer of protection from their metallic microphones so that we couldn't detect them when we did sweeps. Russia is VERY VERY smart. We were stubborn and refused to believe that they had listening devices until our Navy Seebees came in and tore apart the room.
