I have given this problem some serious thought. Why not just collect all your skin cells, a vacuum cleaner should do the trick, and have a mass funeral for all of them at once. That would be the practical way to go.

It's as absurd as a drunk driver killing your pregnant wife and being charged with 2 murders.
Or a doctor who accidentally terminates a pregnancy can be charged with manslaughter.
If what was growing inside her was not actually life....what's the big deal?
FWIW...I'm anti religious. I hate religion and know it's complete and total bullshit. I also have a degree in biotechnology. With that in mind - I don't think we can say that an embryo or a fetus does not constitute life.
So it's safe to say that you are pro abortion.

Obama's good friend Bill Ayers bombed cop stations and he has a job at at a prominent university, not only is he not spending his life in jail, hes actually seen as an intellectual by members of the left.
Imagine the outrage that these ass hats with their "safe spaces" would express if a member of the klan who bombed black establishments was allowed to teach in college.
No one on the right supports these terrorists, but the left regularly sticks up for "their own"
Deranged sociopaths like Bill Ayers, or Al Sharpton are considered intellectuals by the left. Sharpton even got a tv show on MSNBC, after stirring up an anti semetic riot which left a jewish man dead.
Im sure theres about as many right wing extremists as there are left wing extremists, the only difference is that the right doesnt try to justify them, and right wing extremists dont end up with prominent jobs in academia.
I actually agree with part of what Futurescurrents wrote, muslim terrorists really arent statistically relevant in the states, your much more likely to get shot by a random sociopath with no political leanings whatsoever, but to say right wing extremists are a bigger threat is just idiotic, the numbers dont back it up.

"Constitutes life" that's a pretty low barrier.
when I was a vegetarian I would eat eggs, but not fertilized eggs. Anyone who denies that human life begins at conception is just that, a science denier.
Me personally? I don't think that life should be protected under the constitution until it is born. It already has a perfect government and God in the form of the mother. That baby lives in her universe and it is none of our business in our universe what goes on inside her universe, although the mother is still answerable to the laws of men. That's just what I think, and I don't really care what the law or the church or some politician thinks. If you think like I do, then I agree with you. If you think differently than me then we simply disagree. I would like to see the laws reflect more what I believe.

Scott Peterson murdered his pregnant wife and he was charged and convicted for the murder of his wife and the unborn child.

It stands to make sense that a fetus is life based on the legal challenges that come with destroying it.

I always was a firm believer in a woman's right to end her pregnancy whenever and for whatever reason.
But these ramifications made me rethink it a bit.
And then when you understand that when you abort a 5 month old fetus - to say that it's not 'alive' is just a poor understanding of biology.
Some might even argue that killing a baby after it's been out of the womb for 3 months is not a big deal since everyone knows that babies are born about a trimester early and don't really exhibit any 'lifelike' characteristics until about 100 days.
Again - you won't find a more antitheistic person than me. Try to look at it from a different perspective.
