In fairness, Joe is president and we can point to what started this wave of anti-Semitism, what's fueling it, and what he's done about it.
First, I remember several instances of former President Trump catering to anti-semitism...welcoming it with a blind eye.
Trump is seldom careful about who he offends — tossing out jibes, insults, and threats with reckless abandon. He is more than willing to lash out at cultural elites and the people he calls “disloyal Jews” who support Democrats. But Trump has been consistent in his reluctance to offend what he regards as a crucial part of the base that he has nurtured over the years.
He is unapologetic about associating with overt neo-Nazis, and unwilling to issue full-throated denunciations of antisemitism. Trump is willing to draw this barrage of opprobrium for one simple reason: He believes that he has tapped into something in the American electorate, especially among evangelical Christians, who have ingrained — but complicated — attitudes toward Israel and Jews.
And these are his people...
But Trumpism (and Trump himself) has given oxygen to renascent antisemitism that has been introduced and normalized — by social media, celebrities and politicians — to a new audience that is impossible to quantify but may number in the millions.

Now, the march in Tennessee was just a march. Let's see what happens with Trump, Biden, Haley, or any politician when Neo-Nazis begin attacking other Americans... homegrown terrorism.
It's a tough situation. In college, I (a Catholic) lived for two years with a roommate from Israel (Jewish) and a Muslim from Pakistan...we have a very strong friendship. Today, whenever we talk and/or email...we stay away from religious/political controversy. Each of us is a citizen of three countries that can easily leave one country when shit hits the fan for someplace much safer.
We all have families (teenagers) and just focus on that. Yet, I do wonder if they're online discussing what has been occurring in the world since 2001. Unfortunately for them, they've had to do such twice. Fortunately, for me, I've never been in a situation like theirs to be forced to move my family to another country for their safety.
One thing the three of us do agree on...the world will be better without another Trump Presidency. It's a similar sentiment with Jews & Muslims I know in the north suburbs of Chicago...life will be much worse for them in America under the chaos of MAGA.
Trump is the greater evil but its not saying everybody else has not done anything wrong.

I never said Trump didn't cater to antisemites. I said this wave isn't necessarily on Trump. Anti-Semites are seizing this opportunity fueling disingenuous confounding narratives to wide-eyed youth marching for a human rights cause; some who'll undoubtedly take them up on it. It is not lost on me that rhetoric has a slippery slope and I've seen people slipping.
Joe could've shut that down inside the first month once Israel had gotten its pound of flesh rather than fueling their war machine and stoking further rage to the masses at home.
I strongly doubt any U.S. President (Biden, Trump, Haley, Independent, or another global leader) could have shut down the retaliation, revenge, punishment, or whatever anyone wants to call it that Israel is doing in Gaza.
I remember hearing a similar conversation from others when the 911 terrorist attacks occurred...people outside of the U.S. were using the same arguments that their leaders could have shut down the U.S. or intervened to prevent retaliation, revenge, or punishment for the terrorist attacks on our soil in N.Y. (twin towers, pentagon) after a few weeks of getting its pound of flesh as you refer to it.

The United States stayed neutral while supplying weapons, oil & airplanes to the countries attacked by Germany/Italy until Pearl Harbor was attacked (our ships, military & civilians on our soil)...America declared WAR against Japan and wanted much more than retaliation, revenge, and punishment for what the Japanese.
America wanted total annihilation regardless of the civilian cost of lives because we knew the enemy didn't give a damn about our civilians especially after we discover Japanese plans to do further attacks on civilians residing on the West Coast (the location of many of our military installations).
In addition, we built encampments for Japanese Americans to keep a close eye on them because we didn't trust them while other Americans looted their homes and businesses...burned down their properties...froze their income in banks.

My point is as soon as civilians (young, women, elderly, children, a world leader, our military on our soil or at sea) are targeted by someone for whatever reasons...
Someone who you consider to be the aggressor...the people of your country want revenge...total annihilation of the aggressor, much more than a pound of flesh.
There's always an instigator of growing hate...someone that wants to make a country great again...expansion of its powers...a return back to its glory years. He needs help to do it because he can not do it alone.
Today, our military installations are deeply integrated with surrounding civilian life, schools, universities, government offices, hospitals and churches. Now imagine what will happen if the United States military base is attack on American soil.
It's an ugly (sinful) side of human nature that no world leader can shut it down after getting their pound of flesh especially when the aggressor is still planning further attacks on your soil because they want more power (expansion of power) to do whatever they want while you're still outrage/shocked by the initial attacks.
Simply, no world leader will be able to prevent the United States from wanting much more than a pound of flesh when it retaliates and wants revenge just like Biden can not stop Israel.
P.S. Total destruction becomes a need usually when secret plans of further attacks are discovered. Often the public doesn't become aware of until long after the war has concluded.

My reference to Gaza is meant as a reference to Hamas deeply embedded in the culture of the Palestinian people supporting Hamas even in its war with Israel. Thus, many consider Hamas and Gaza as one.
In contrast, I consider the Hamas as a militant group...independently but deeply embedded in Gaza that they can easily war one day and be civilians the next day...it's why the Hamas is so dangerous from a military point of view.
I consider Hamas a Palestinian militant group that rejects Israel's right to exist and is committed to its destruction while I blame the government of Britain for creating a mess back in 1917 and then escalating it in 1948...
Britain endorsed the idea of a Jewish homeland within Palestine, which led to an influx of Jewish immigrants to the region after rising antisemitic persecution in other countries (e.g. Jewish Europeans).
Britain ran when it realized it could no longer control the violence between Palestine and the new Israel.
Today, global governments, militant groups, and terrorists have a bad habit of embedding their military within the civilian population. Unfortunately, it opens the doorway for an easy path to WAR after an attack.
Sadly, all World Wars are intimately linked to a prior World War or Continental Wars.

The argument I made was that Biden could've prevented the rise in antisemitism at home by cutting off Israel's aid and using diplomatic leverage, not that it would've stopped the onslaught (which it would've; more below). The rise in antisemitism has a lot to do with people in support of Palestine being libeled and slandered as antisemites, being blacklisted, fired, doxxed, and having their freedom of speech curbed (anti-BDS legislation) in the name of a foreign power. Seeing millions dumped by pro-Israel lobby groups into the media to run hit pieces on democratically elected representatives critical of Israel while insurrectionists are elevated.
