BETHESDA, Md., Dec 14 (Reuters) - The Biden administration said on Thursday it had identified 48 drugs in the Medicare program whose prices rose quicker than inflation during the fourth quarter of the year and may require their makers to pay rebates.

President Joe Biden's signature Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) includes a provision to penalize drugmakers who work with Medicare, a government program for people aged 65 and older or who are disabled.

Dec 7 (Reuters) - The Biden Administration on Thursday announced it is setting new policy that will allow it to seize patents for medicines developed with government funding if it believes their prices are too high.

The policy creates a roadmap for the government's so-called march-in rights, which have never been used before. They would allow the government to grant additional licenses to third parties for products developed using federal funds if the original patent holder does not make them available to the public on reasonable terms.

Musk shouldn't be complaining under Biden in comparison to what he had under Trump.

He should be careful of what he wishes for because when Trump regains the Oval Office as a convicted criminal...all hell will break loose for Twitter, Telsa, legal immigrants, minorities, protestors, women and anyone else that Trump has promised to get revenge.
