And? It's a smart move. He can and should keep Trump in 2nd place until Trump forges SS protection and then doesn't pay his bodyguards.
Speculative. One could infer that Biden's team hadn't even thought of it based on optics, but neither you nor me know what internal planning or communication was happening behind closed doors. Do you think the secret service publishes POTUS schedule willy nilly? So cite me a source in which insiders confirm the speculation.
Highly likely Trump got whiff of Biden's plan and tried to beat him there.
