People don't seem to understand the difference between someone's opinion, and a statement of fact.
Bob says: "I think Sally is pretty."
One year later Bob says:
"I think Sally is ugly."
Is the second statement a lie?
Clarke says: "I think the adminstration did a good job."
One year later:
"I think the administration did a lousy job"
Is the second statment a lie?
It is foolish to think Clarke could be convicted of perjury based on his comments.
The joke is that the republicrats blame the democans of politicizing the issue. What they hell are they doing?

Ok, Cuz has referred to "proven" lies by Clarke.

Since Cuz will only laugh at my question I have no way of knowing if the link that Max provided is the same material as Cuz refers to, but IF IT IS, THERE IS NOTHING PROVEN THERE.
Hey, perhaps he lied...I don't yet know and it would sure as hell influence my feelings about his credibility. However, having Bill Frist say it's so doesn't make it so.
