Republicans, Remember This When Democrats Now Urge ‘Bipartisanship’

Indeed. Bias is the hand maiden of education. 'Twould have been far better had I remained ignorant and unbiased as the rest. Too late for that now. The damage is done.

Fortunately, the damage won't be done as you hold almost no chance of ever being elected to office or appointed to the Fed. But your viewpoint can still poison the young - at least until reality comes home to roost and you (and your ilk) are outed for the charlatans you are. Then, no one will listen to you.

Ditto!

When the Dems controlled Congress, they basically said... "FUCK YOU REPUBLICANS... we have a supermajority, so we can do anything we please. You all might as well go fishing, 'cause we don't care what you have to say about anything, and your vote is completely irrelevant."

Now that the Dems are in the minority, "let's work together"?

The DemoCraps have NEVER considered "America first"... it has always been THEIR SOCIALIST AGENDA AT THE EXPENSE OF EVERYTHING AND EVERY AMERICAN CITIZEN.

I say FUCK 'EM!!

lets review that bias.

I present case law saying the Federal Reserve is a private bank. Dennis Kucinich states on the floor of Congress that the Federal Reserve is no more owned by the govt than Federal Express...

and if you read the Federal Reserve Act you understand the regional federal reserve banks are owned by private shareholders (quote from Federal Reserve website... " For example, the Reserve Banks issue shares of stock to member banks.")

and that the only input the Federal Govt has is that it can appoint members that must reach a consensus with an equal amount of people appointed by the private banks... to change monetary policy.

yet Piezoe somehow argues the Federal Reserve Bank is owned and run by the govt. Its really odd how someone could wear such blinders and still consider oneself educated.

The quote from the Federal reserve site is that those shares are not like the shares issued to stock holders in a public corporation.

And another quote you've omitted is "The Federal Reserve isn't owned by anybody"

This is more of your YouTube stuff, isn't it? Why don't you just go to the Reserve site and quote the entirety of their statement on ownership, rather than choosing words out of context. Or are you going to continue this nonsensical YouTube inspired innuendo?

I am not sure if he is smarter than me... but whenever he was on T.V. he struck me as usually making thought filled intelligent conversation and conclusions.

If liberals like him (instead of pre fascists) had been in charge of the Democrat party... we would all be far far better off.

Are you admitting you're no smarter than Dennis Kucinich? o_O

Actually scat, they would have liked to say "fuck you", but couldn't. Then we'd have had the public option at least, and maybe even repeal of McCarran-Ferguson, or even single payer. But sadly for the democrats they weren't nearly so monolithic as the Republicans. They needed virtually every Democrat vote to get by the Republican roadblock. They weren't able to say "fuck you". They had to compromise within their own party! they had spoil sports like Baucus, a DINO, and others too, to deal with.

1. you left out a critical " " around the word "owned".

2. Read this... and understand it... study... learn that the Regional Fed banks also create money...

"The 12 regional Federal Reserve Banks, which were established by the Congress as the operating arms of the nation's central banking system, are organized similarly to private corporations--possibly leading to some confusion about "ownership." For example, the Reserve Banks issue shares of stock to member banks. However, owning Reserve Bank stock is quite different from owning stock in a private company. The Reserve Banks are not operated for profit, and ownership of a certain amount of stock is, by law, a condition of membership in the System. The stock may not be sold, traded, or pledged as security for a loan; dividends are, by law, 6 percent per year."

If private banks owned the shares... that is private ownership.
it is a red herring to say they are not operated for profit.
they get to create money and give it away. The buy crappy assets for good money from their shareholders.

In short they have a license to create money and the license is owned by private member banks.
And we don't have the list of those banks.

3. In short piezoe take off your blinders and learn how the system works.
Your final argument will be thus.

But the govt appoints half the members to the board.
My response will be that the board has no power because it must come to a consensus to change policy.
A consensus with members who are appointed by the regional fed banks.

If the govt had any real oversight they would appoint a majority of the board.

Baucus was chosen by the President to lead the dems on the ACA.

You can have your big govt leftist opinion but you can't rewrite history so soon.
We lived through it.

We remember the dems like Kucinich who were holding out for the public option or a hybrid.

Reid Pelosi Obama Bacus and the rest of your sellout leadership... had to convince dozens of remaining Dems who wanted the public option to sell out to the crap written by the insurance companies.

It was the insurance company sellouts against liberals who wanted to help the people.
Obama Bacus Reid and Pelosi won it for the insurance companies.

That little comb-over dingleberry... sold out America for a ride on Air Force One. He should be tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail.

I partly agree. Anyone with my viewpoints has little chance of being elected in a national election unless exceedingly articulate and charismatic. However both the Senate and House have members which in large part share my views, but they are a minority. I won't be appointed to the Fed board of governors, but if I were, I would serve. There are some on the council of economic advisers that do share my views of course, and there will undoubtedly be future appointees to both the Council and the Board of Governors that share my views. So things won't be quite as jolly for you as you might have hoped. Sorry to have to break such bad news this close to the Holidays.
