I hear ya, Everybody wants to believe in something so they can get that done and over with and no longer have to think and get on with their life.
Believing is easy, thinking is hard. Or at least it was for our ancestors. Now it is getting harder to believe than it is to think.
Didn't we already go through this once in the "Age of Reason"?
A better argument would be, "How to prevent foxholes."
