The Harvard campus is a cesspool of antisemitism.

A collection of posters showing those who were
taken hostage from Israel by the Palestinian militant group Hamas was defaced at Harvard University over the weekend, according to one of the school’s faculty members.
Shabbos Kestenbaum, a religion and politics student at the Harvard Divinity School,
posted photos of the posters to X, formerly Twitter, showing various mocking remarks written over the faces of people who Hamas took hostage during the group’s Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel.
Multiple posters had remarks written on them accusing Israel of being behind the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon. One poster of Gad Haggai, one of the victims of the Oct. 7 attack, reads “I knew Epstein personally,” referencing the deceased financier and sexual predator
Jeffrey Epstein.
Another poster of Romi Gonen, a 23-year-old Israeli woman who was taken hostage, reads “sure, Jan,” a reference to a dismissive
meme from The Brady Bunch.
“The night before Harvard begins a new semester, every single Jewish hostage poster on campus has been defaced with vile antisemitism,” Kestenbaum said in his post, adding the accusation that “Jews are neither safe nor welcomed at Harvard.”
Accusations of antisemitism have
frequently been thrown at Harvard’s students and leadership in the wake of the Oct. 7 attack.
Kestenbaum is one of a group of Jewish students who
filed a lawsuit against the university earlier this month, arguing that Harvard has failed to effectively police and punish antisemitism on campus.
