Regarding the Existence or Absence of God

I still don't know what you are trying to say. I understand you tried to go into more detail as to what Bell's theorems are. That wasn't really what I wanted you to tell me about though. I was wondering why hey apply to this converstaion: the existence/non-existence of God.

I'll make it simple. Are you saying:

A. If there is a God that observes us, He would affect our system, and sisnce He doesn't (I personally haven't seens any miracles lately), God doesn't exist.

or

B. God observes us, proven through Him giving us the Bible through prophets.

Dude, don't get me wrong, I'm not berating you, its just that when you post, you either post your statement with nothing to back it up, or you post back-up with no statement. Its a problem I used to have too when I wrote papers, I used to assume that everyone knew everything I knew and thought, so I could just type what I WANTED to type.

Browsing a couple of these posts whilst waiting for the market to open reminds me of a promise made by UK medium, Doris Stokes.

Institutionalized religious indoctrination is losing its edge as recent generations are less eager to be spoon fed this man made form of the godland fantasy pukage, which was designed to be capable of being repeated after memorization by the use of half a brain cell by the likes of murray t turtle and his kowabunga dudes.

Some things show the current generations haven't been listening to the crap so much.

A girl brought up in a strict catholic background was given a cash birthday present by her kin so that she may go purchase a crucifix ,as she had become a 'child of the church' (groan). She went to the jewelers and asked to be shown the best quality gold cross necklaces they had. On seeing them she said "They are all so pretty but don't you have the ones with a little man on ? "

You are correct. However, the bible speaks of mankind in the latter days and it is as you have described. So, when I hear these absurdities coming from people, I turn to the word for confirmation. Our world is in its present condition because man has chosen to live without God and his commandments.

I'd have to disagree. The world is in its present condition because man has chosen to live with TOO MANY gods competing for our attention. For example, we have God, Yahweh, Allah, Buddha, Vishnu, Money, Drugs, Sex and Porn, Rock 'n Roll, Sports, Internet, Stock Trading and Television to name a few.

actually stu, i think thunderbolt's actually right for once. i'd have to say that a big reason the world is as good as it is today (and it is good) is precisely because man has increasingly chosen to shun the crazy world of religion.

I was hasty by not making reference to the quote, my attempt was to say he was wrong to turn to his so called word in that way, as there are better and truer things than a fanatical devotion to spoon food.

It's a persistent affliction that religious indoctrination causes to peoples personality that makes them unable to debate sensibly or coherently, which I think thunder and others have displayed so clearly here.
