Reconsidering my Dell UltraSharp 49 Curved Monitor - U4919DW

Pic came out crap but this is it. Full disclosure I'm running Linux on this box and the kernel I'm using doesn't support the drivers for the latest AMD video cards so I'm slumming it in 4k until I revert back to the other box I was using where it worked great. In the pic there are a lot of overlapping windows for my crypto bot, my futures trading software, browser, stock price scanners, etc. The idea behind 8k is to avoid having to overlap any windows so I can see everything and react without having to fiddle. At 8k this theory works great and as soon as I get it back going I'll post another pic.

The bright side is the monitor runs at 120 hertz when in 4k so if you're a gamer you'll really like it. Variable refresh rate too so no screen tearing. Also, multiple dimming zones so blacks look black. The contrast ratio is amazing. And, uh, pardon the mess.

3 of this would be awesome, on the list.

You guys must have gobs of trading instruments and tons of indicators to look at and hundreds of informational decisions to make on the snap, along with dim eyes???

I scalp on a 14” Thinkpad laptop and at times with my wife racing down the interstate 70 mph. But I make binary decisions. Yes or no. Black or while. More probability or less. More volatility or less that normal. I cannot imagine looking a 3 or 4 monitors at a time to make trading decisions. That would be information overload for me. But then my brain may be pea size compared to you guy's brains.

Didn't Al Brooks start on a 12" laptop?
