The NYSE closed for Nixon why not Reagan? Could use the 3 day weekend.

According to Bloomberg radio just now, the NYSE is actively considering closing the exchange for Friday. No determination has yet been made. Apparently it is traditionally closed for a presidential or, I presume, ex-presidential funeral.
On a related note, Reagan was the first president to visit the exchange while still in office.

The NYSE has done so in all previous Presidential funerals.
