Maybe it's because the concepts are already well known, published in a few different texts and TASC articles which are available online.
Maybe you shouldn't jump to conclusions and judge other people's "attitudes"? How many of my posts have been helpful to others vs. the common drivel you see on ET?
Not saying never helpful. Just saying unwilling to help. Not saying chronically. Just don't understand acutely. The same number of keystrokes used to make both replies could have been used to be helpful in the first reply.
Interesting that you took my reply personally though. It's sort of like being in a room full of people and you notice an obvious odor so you say "Alright who passed gas?" As everyone is chuckling and looking around, one guy's face has turned red with embarrassment as he adamantly denies culpability.
And 'maybe' is hardly a symbol of conclusive language. More like conjecture I'd say. So "jump to conclusions" doesn't cut it.
Hey... after all... the "newbies" need to figure it out for themselves anyway, right? And even mentioning that there is an abundance of info on ET to be found by using the search tool is waaaaay too much help to give a newbie.

We are evaluating The Master Swing Trader by Farley. This book seems interesting if you can get over how long it is. There are some cool things we are looking to add to our alerts.

Okay, you want helpful? EVERY NEWBIE LISTEN CAREFULLY. PM me and I'll tell you where someone has posted the PDF file for FREE. You don't have to waste your $50 or whatever he's charging these days. No need to do any research... no need to guess what NRB/I4 could possibly mean... you can read the actual PDF. I won't post it here for legal reasons but I know where you can download it. I didn't want to be so OBVIOUS in my original email... hence I said that if you're interested in NR4/IB you should do some more research... and maybe you'll come across the site I'm talking about that has the PDF posted FREE. But since everyone is looking for handouts around here, PM me... btw, the original TASC articles are posted there too in PDF form so you can get the original source from Connors and Rashke.

Wrong about the use of 'maybe.' Each one stood on its own. Not a linear progression. Offering three separate possibilities nullified any single conclusion - which was the intent.... because I truly don't know why someone would be obviously unwilling to help.

However, it sure is nice of you to offer the link to the pdf file. Although, as you say, the information is widely and readily available for free with a search put through any search engine.

I remind you that I was the one who originally posted about this ebook's contents with a one sentence summary.
Your definition of "sharing" and "being helpful" is also a bit off. It's like if I told you that the key to winning in the stock market is to take every entry when the 5/15 MA crosses (as an example), and then you asking claiming I'm not helpful and am an "Ebenezer" because I won't tell you how to calculate an MA.
Did I use the word "sharing?" I didn't use the word sharing. Hey did somebody put the word "sharing" into one of my posts and it is only able to be read on your screen? I don't even have to look back for that one because I know I didn't u the word "sharing."
And notice the continued use of the word "sharing" in double quotes versus single quotes. I would use single quotes if I were quoting myself, as I did in my previous post, and double quotes when not, as in this post.
