They do burn a lot of fuel. Ours burns about 150 gallons an hour at altitude.
A Gulfstream IV burns about 450 gallons an hour under similar conditions.

Lukie, do you fly that plane?

City of the day: El Centro, CA.

What an absolute hell hole that place is. Whenever southern California is in a heat wave, the news stations drive out there to take shots of the outdoor thermometers. They are always well over 100 degress. Years ago one of the reporters went around asking people why they chose to live in El Centro. They all said they liked the heat. Godfukkingdamb.

My employers new ride.

Just so I understand, Lukie are you saying that you pilot this plane?

An unincorporated small town. I just don't see the appeal of places like that. I need the bustle of a 24/7 metropolitan area.
I felt much the same when I was younger, as I get older not so much.

I notice myself beggining to scowl at the young hipsters taking over my favorite taverns. Hopefully I'm not turning into a grumpy old man who wants to move to Cherry Hill SD and sit on the porch chewing tobacco.

I'm skipping the gym today and I don't need you guys giving me any crap about it. There's a heat wave going on for chrissakes and I need to conserve energy. I'll be back in the gym after the heat wave breaks, so just get off my back already.
