No, as sitting would be the obvious thing for a mug of coffee, or a double leg amputee to do.

I guess you can argue that a mug can "stand" on its head, or "lie" on its side.
But my point was more that something that cannot stand up, can't sit down either.
If something is always "sitting", it's not really sitting. It just is. A default position is not the same as "sitting".
Mr "Bull" might be an exception.
When it comes to the "double leg amputee", the water gets kind of muddy, though. You have a point there.
I feel very strongly about sitting, both in life and in trading.
Here's the deal.
The school needs a 80% pass rate for grade levels.
Unfortunately the principle cannot locates 23% of his students. Low attendance, etc...
So if the teachers pass everyone who is attending class (77%, no matter how poorly they perform) this goal cannot be reached.
Everybody gets a trophy. Yeahhhhh......
