Rand Paul on racism in business...

I love it how all the PC whore marxist crowd are in this state of obsessively panic about Paul. Optional alone has posted what 3-5 threads about him in the last few days alone!! LOL!!! That's how you know you are doing something right.

They mostly don't really understand Paul's positions, he's far too much of an intellectual to understand what he's saying... If there's one weakness he will have, it's that he's too intellectual for most people.

Kind of like how your (ZZZzzzzz/OPTIONAL777) position on pedophilia is on the wrong side of the law?? LOL!!!

Ouch that's gonna leave a mark.

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

Ron and Rand are their followers are on the wrong side of the law...

The Federal Civil Rights Act guarantees all people the right to "full and equal enjoyment of the goods, services, facilities, privileges, advantages, and accommodations of any place of public accommodation, without discrimination or segregation on the ground of race, color, religion, or national origin."

The key is a public place, not a private place. Sure you may own it, but if your business is open to the public...that means it is a public place.

You have a business that caters to the public?

Go ahead and willingly practice racism...see how it goes.

So in places where prostitution is legal, can prostitutes discriminate on the grounds of race, color, religion, or national origin, or are they legally obliged to have sex with everyone?

Quote from OPTIONAL777:

Oh...I understand how they feel and I understand how slave owners felt about the slaves being their property...

It isn't hard to understand how people feel...it is hard to understand how they view themselves as civilized when they treat fellow human beings differently on the basis of race...

Making someone your property requires using violence against them. People associating with others who they choose to does not require violence; whereas forcing people to associate with those they don't want to does require violence. Therefore the people you criticize are on the opposite side to the slaveholders on this issue; it is you and your ilk who are on the same side as the racist slave owners. You use violent force to coerce and own people, just like they did.

Besides, people who support the right of free, not coerced association, don't treat fellow human beings differently on the basis of race. They simply do not think it is criminal for someone else to choose to do that, just as its not criminal to choose who you have sex with on the basis of superficial factors like race, looks, age, gender etc.

In the same way, libertarians generally don't intrude into the private lives of others and splash their intimate details all over the press; however, that does not mean they think it is a crime for the newspapers, blogs, gossips etc to do so.

It prostitution is legal, and a hooker refuses to serve some honey-pie to her customer at her lunch counter on the basis of race alone...sure it falls under the same principles...
