They still wouldn't because no matter how liberal your supposed white liberal is, he/she cannot approach the argument the same way the a black man can and how he perceives treatment by, for lack of a better term, "whitey". 2 white patrons taking opposites sides of this argument (remember, it was about white privilege) will not have the same passion as a black man who always views himself and his people as victims.

A white liberal and a white conservative would not be having this argument.
