Racist Prof busted in Columbia gal 'punch'

Pres Obama, in response to a reporter's question today after the Veteran's Day Memorial services at Arlington National Cemetery, said that the lady was stupid and undeserving of a job at Columbia University for not being able to duck a punch by a 59 y.o. man and should have acted more responsibly by assessing her own culpability in instigating the incident before she filed criminal charges with the NYC police.

No incriminations against the NYPD was made by the President, at this time.
 
Nothing in the article as presented indicates that the punch was thrown because the vic is "white". Feel free to assume it, though, based on your own preconceptions.

According to police reports, 59-year-old Columbia architecture professor Lionel McIntyre punched a female Columbia employee in the face Friday night. Now he's in trouble.
Apparently McIntyre, who is black, and Camille Davis, a white theater production manager, got into a heated debate about "white privilege" at Toast, a Columbia-area bar. McIntyre, who often engages bar patrons in uncomfortable debates, first shoved Davis. When someone tried to break it up, McIntyre punched Davis.

"The punch was so loud, the kitchen workers in the back heard it over all the noise," bar back Richie Velez, 28, told 'The Post.' "I was on my way over when he punched Camille and she fell on top of me."

Heated debate over "white pivilege"? Often engages patrons in uncomfortable debates?

This act of aggression by a black man against a white woman over an argument about race is nothing more than a racist attack plain and simple. If she were not white, there wouldn't have been a fight.

He's a f'n racist, plain and simple. Amazing some people refuse to accept this.

So if they had been discussing something they agreed upon, he would have hit her anyway because she was white?

Can you even see how illogical your premise and conclusion are?

Heated discussion happen all the time, and generally punches are not thrown...

This is a case of someone who got overheated and could not control himself and lashed out in a violent way.

That he hit a woman is in our society a very barbaric action, so it makes his crime of assault even worse in the punishment phase...
