QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

Yes, if you right click on the stock symbol data in the portfolio view you will see the option to email the chart. Then once you have sent the chart to yourself you will have a great jpeg of it to use.

This is a great feature to use when you want to send someone what is happening on a stock on the fly.. and produces a very impressive jpeg of it.

Jan C:
According to this TD Ameritrade page http://files.shareholder.com/downlo...E-BB22DE85CAE6/Monthly_Metrics_-_Apr_FY12.pdf , TD had 5,703,000 accounts as of the end of the March 2012 Quarter. TD customers totaled an average daily number of trades of 388,000.

For comparison, Interactive Brokers had 195,000 accounts with total average trades at 417,000. http://www.benzinga.com/news/12/04/2465571/interactive-brokers-group-march-darts-down-2-yoy . Which firm do you think has the traders?

I don't think TD really cares about a few hundred signatures as that number is inconsequential. I think you are fighting a losing battle.

Quote from tomi01:

Yes, I was thanking Jan Cadoret for setting up the petition.
Excellent idea and I hope it makes some sense to the PTB over at TDA.

How they could possibly ignore or be unaware of the features that short term traders use is really worrying....

Seriously worrying for me as one of their customers.

It seems to me that those who are responsible for making this decision are completely oblivious to what we REQUIRE to be able to trade. Is this a glimpse inside a corporate structure that has lost its mind over time?...

Esp when their reps can't even fathom these necessities as well?

Sure seems that way to me.

It will be sad day if Quotetracker is given the same fate as Prophet.net. Anyone who will develop a project that combines the best features of both platforms along with incorporating backtesting and portfolio analysis will blow away anything that is currently available. There is advertising revenue and I'm sure there are many traders like me who would pay for such a service.

the lastest feedback I got from TDA:

At this point, the tentative draw down for QT has been pushed back indefinitely. So the future of the program is unknown at this time. We understand your comments entirely and have forwarded your feedback to the appropriate department for consideration.

FWIW, received today from TD in reply to an unrelated question,

<i>Hello Mr. King

Thank you for the e-mail. You can download our trading tool Think or Swim. That gives you more options for display/view. We are working on a new site. We don't have a time frame for the release. I think it will give users more options on the display.

Thanks

Memorial day on globex opens sunday at normal time 1700ct
then halts at 1030ct on monday and reopens 1700ct
I have sunday set up partial day from 1700ct to 1030ct and monday set partial 1700ct to1515ct
the charts show a space between 1030ct to 1700ct on monday
can some one help on proper times for holiday to eliminate the space that is the halt on monday

in TFHOLIDAYS.XML, I have the following holiday defined under the -USFUT ID

< DAY >Memorial Day
< DATE >05/27/2012< /DATE >
< FROMTIME >16:30< /FROMTIME >
< TOTIME >10:30< /TOTIME >
< /DAY >

(NOTE: I had to add spaces within the tags for the stuff to show here..)

Within QT UI, if you select CME Globex and click on HOLIDAYS, you can define it as:
Date: 5/27/2012
Partial Day
Start 3:30 PM
End 9:30 AM
