QuoteTracker Bought out by TD AMERITRADE! YIKES!

Guys, I have been using QT and have been very happy with it. I have no reason to change soft until the time problems start arising. But QT is simply a tool, if the service becomes worse I'll look at others, right now I'll stick with QT.

I sent you a PM

Michael...

This must be the post where I thought you were giving advice or
something to that effect. What you don't realize, is that for me at least,
I feel like I have been nothing but a "beta tester".

But I knew it would end up this way. I just wasn't expecting it to be now...:(

Also, as soon as I put up this thread, Jerry did send me an email.

I would of rather he did that before QT was handed over to Ameritrade.

You have always bashed QT (in fact, once when QT was having
problems you actually put in a review on Sierra trying to get QT'ers
to come to Sierra because it was so much better) (it is way worse
than QT btw).

So I assume you are getting off on this aren't you?

My advice to what will be previous users of QT:

Don't go to Sierra, go to Ensign. Sierra is the cheapest (worst) out there now!

I have used all 3 for many, many years...

Uhhh.... kiwi....

Hope you read this before you respond to the the one quoted above..

I shouldn't be mad at you or Sierra... Actually Sierra is an okay alternative
to QT (in fact I have used it many times).

Sierra has it's good points like any other software. Some that I
like better than QT or Ensign.

There have been many times I have been subscribed to all 3 at once.

Then I cancel one. Then I re-subscribe. All depending on whether
QT was acting right or not at the time.(most of the time QT acts right).

If I could just take the best out of these 3 packages, it would be awesome...

LOL v77,

Yes, me weakness for stirring folk up was revealed once again. I like Ensign too ... I just prefer the programming capabilities of Sierra Chart vs its greater set of fib type tools.

Have used QT & IQFeed for years...

Will stay a user of same, as long as the new fees for QT don't go through the roof. Also, support is important...

Will not open an account at TD Ameritrade...

Probably time to fund an IB account, and give Ensign a serious try.

Congrats Jerry & Team!

Maybe the terms of the agreement allow for Mr. Medved to receive scheduled payments according to how they are able to retain and support the product and Mr. Medveds participation. It is not strange for a transfer to be structured this way. You guys simply have no idea...and its none of your business.

Michael B.

Actually, I do have some idea ... and while it may not be any of our business now, it most definitely will be in the future!

But none of that.

This thread has served it's purpose of brining the transferal of ownership to our attention and letting us discuss it in a fairly open forum.

While changes are "a com'in", we now have a total heads-up and can begin to consider our options ... that is to say, "your options", because they are the only one's that are going to matter to you.

Regards,

JJ

How come my IB integration is farked this am? Was never a problem.

Nice.

I'm honestly sorry to hear that.

Especially since my ZN charts are f*ckedup too.

Well, I think this just became our problem, now!

 ... this is bullshit.
